Before choosing ground support equipment

Sample article for layout review.

Before comparing ground support equipment, put together a clear description of the operation. The following questions provide a starting point for a technical discussion; final suitability must be checked against the aircraft requirements and the equipment documentation.

Define the task

Identify the aircraft type and the service required: ground power, air start, cabin conditioning, potable water or lavatory service. Note the operating location and any limits on access or movement.

Gather the technical requirements

Prepare the applicable aircraft requirements, site conditions and connection details. Compare these with the original documents provided for each equipment model; a photograph alone is not enough to establish suitability.

Prepare your enquiry

Send the model you are considering, the relevant specifications and your intended operating conditions to our team. Highlight any questions that need clarification before making a selection.
